Welcome to the home front of Watson Memorial Baptist Church. We are so pleased that you are visiting our website. Our church is growing physically and spiritually. As Solomon prayed in 2 Chronicles 6:14-15,"O Lord, God of Israel, there is no God like you in heaven or on earth - you who keep your covenant of love with your servents who continue wholeheartedly in your way. You have kept your promise to your servent David my father; with your mouth you have promised and with your hand you have fullfilled it - as it is today."As a visiting friend, you are invited to take a moment to peruse this site and enjoy the journey.

Then Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, Who is on the LORD's side? let him come unto me. And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together unto him.    Exodus 32:26

To our brothers and sisters in Christ

Watson Memorial Baptist Church was a daughter of Goose Creek Baptist Church. Goose Creek Baptist Church was organized in 1864 and was relocated, after the sale of the property, to our present address: 7217 Nachand Lane. Only 13 members were charter members but after new members began to join them from the community, the church voted to rename Goose Creek Baptist Church, in memory of the late Sister Lillie Watson. The new name was Watson Memorial Baptist Church.

3 Then Jesus told them this parable: 4 “Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? 5 And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders 6 and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.’ 7 I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.

19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”   Matthew 28:19-20

Fellowship With Us

WCome and fellowship with us! Hebrews 10:24-25 24 And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, 25 not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another —and all the more as you see the day approaching.

I Timothy 4:13-14

W  13 Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture, to preaching and to teaching. 14 Do not neglect your gift, which was given you through prophecy when the body of elders laid their hands on you.
